Most of the partners have always raised this question: What is the only reason why the LED light turns off to indicate that the light is turned off, but this is basically not the case with the previous incandescent lamps?
In fact, it is because the LED lamp needs a starter when it is working, and there is a key component in the starter called "power capacitor". The power capacitor is very special. When there is a small current in the line, the power capacitor will accumulate them. Until the current is large enough, release them all at once. Therefore, from the outside, it looks like the lamp is showing the lamp (the lamp is off during the accumulation process, and it lights up when it is released).
However, there is no power capacitor on the incandescent lamp, and the small current is not enough to illuminate the lighting fixture-so it seems that the lighting fixture is in the off state
Having said that, we have encountered the second problem: where does the slight current come from after turning off the light? After describing this problem, the lighting fixture will naturally not display the light. There are three main sources of subtle currents.
1. Reverse connection of zero live wire
The power switch controls the neutral line. When the power switch is turned off, there is still voltage at both ends of the lighting fixture (power capacitor). Pressurize both ends of the power capacitor to store energy for the power capacitor.
It is a very wrong and dangerous method to control the neutral line of the power switch. In addition to the display lights of the lighting fixtures caused by the meeting, it may also cause electric shock accidents when people are repairing the lighting fixtures.
2. Current caused in the power switch
Some power switches have built-in indicator lights, but you only need to connect the light wire and the live wire when wiring. After this kind of power switch is turned off, the indicator light is still connected to these two wires.
Since the current caused by the indicator lamp is very small when it is working, it can be ignored for general lighting fixtures. But for the environment where there are power capacitors, no amount of current can be saved by it.
It is recommended to replace the power switch or remove the indicator light of the power switch manually. (If you really want a power switch with indicator lights, buy a zero-fire wire version. At the same time, remember to pull the zero wire to the power switch when decorating.
